My first reaction to the new iPad-stand-pillow ePillow was a hearty guffaw — followed almost immediately by a “hmmmm”; it’s one of those wacky-looking ideas that just might be brilliant.
It’s a pseudo-suede pillow with a vinyl iPad stand set into it; a pretty simple solution to the problem of how to prop the iPad up — a problem that plagues the original iPad considerably more than the iPad 2, since the iPad 2 has solutions like the Smart Cover).
The ePillow is $30 and comes in black and brown. Check out the video and tell us what you think.

If I ever buy one, I would just keep it at my home on my couch. Wouldn’t carry it outside to coffee shop or during journeys as shown in the video. Just because I don’t want to be “THAT” guy…
I had the same reaction – very skeptical at first. But after watching the video, I guess I’ve changed to a maybe that could be useful and comfortable. Perhaps a few more color choices could swing the decision.
I paiid $21.87 for an iPad 2 32-GB and my girlfriend loves her Pansonic Lumix GF 1 Camera that we got for $ 38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $ 657 which only cost me $ 62.81 . Here is the site we use to get it al from, http://to.ly/aWnA

Guffaw indeed. But yes, I can see it’s appeal.
How could you type on it?

There is nothing I don’t like about this.

What’s the point for getting a tablet if you have to buy all these things to support? Mind as well get a laptop.

Yes, a laptop would be a lot more comfortable laying on top of your stomach.

It shows how limited and dependent on accessories the iPad really is. Just add a few (expensive) things and even an Apple product can be useful.
