Yep, you heard it right. Home Inventory is the boringly-named Mac app that will let you create and manage an inventory of the items in your home, using your iOS device as a photo input device. Sounds cool, right? Well, ok, but it at least sounds interesting, yeah?

In iOS 6.1, Apple switched from using the unique identifier in the actual hardware of its iOS devices (UDID) to the more software-centric Advertising Identifier. This way, advertisers can track user behavior for the purpose of serving them relevant ads anonymously, and those very same users can reset and even turn off that tracking feature. Apple has posted two new iPad ads to its official YouTube channel that highlight the device’s expansive app catalog. Called “Alive” and “Together,” the videos use the iPad and the iPad mini to showcase some of the 300,000 apps available through the App Store, including iBooks, GarageBand, iPhoto, FaceTime, TED, and more.

Intuit has today released QuickBooks Online for the iPad, a free app that allows QuickBook subscribers to manage their customers, invoices, estimates, and expenses on the go. Intuit’s customers have been increasingly turning to mobile devices to manage their finances, so its new iPad app is sure to be a big hit.
Apple has confirmed that a bug affecting Microsoft Exchange accounts in iOS 6.1 will be fixed in an upcoming software update. In the meantime, the Cupertino company has provided a temporary fix, which will prevent the excessive communication with Exchange servers that users have been experiencing.
Wunderlist 2 has finally arrived on the iPad today, just under three months after making its debut on the iPhone, Android, Mac, and PC.
