If you’re a developer eager to take advantage of the new Apple TV App Store, today’s your lucky day — because Apple just opened up its submission process for tvOS apps.

Apple alerted devs with an email sent out giving them a heads-up about what is expected. This means building apps and games using, “Xcode 7.1 GM, which includes the tvOS SDK, and [testing] them on tvOS GM seed.”

The email also talks about the universal purchase process, which allows developers to offer a deal in which customers can download the same app for both tvOS and iOS with a one-off purchase. Once this decision has been made, however, devs aren’t able to disable the universal purchase option — so think before you enable it.

Apple started sending out advance developer units of the Apple TV earlier this month. Tim Cook announced that the devices will be available for pre-orders next Monday, with shipments likely to be sent out by the end of next week.

In addition to a dedicated App Store, the surprisingly-repairable Apple TV update features an advanced touchpad remote control and Siri integration. The 32GB model will set customers back $149, while a 64GB model costs $199.
